A Little Glimpse Of Spring

We had a busy weekend!!! Saturday our son was a social butterfly. We went from his dance class to his preschool friend’s birthday. I made cupcakes for the birthday party. Chocolate cupcakes with swiss meringue buttercream icing, topped with a butterfly and flowers. They were a huge hit!!!

On Sunday I worked. Not the best idea, considering I lost one hour of precious, beloved sleep. To make matters worse, they got my coffee order wrong at Starbucks. Not the best start to an already challenging morning.

On Friday we finally got a glimpse of Spring, so I decided to take a picture of my outfit for Monday on Friday, since I wasn’t sure what the weather would be like today. I made the right decision, since it’s back to rain!!! :( I also decided to take the pictures outside on my deck. I take my pictures by myself with a simple digital camera. Once this camera goes, I would love to invest in a better one. Anyways this is what I am wearing today: stripe sweater, ballet flats and my burgundy jeans. I felt a little self-conscious taking these pictures outside as my neighbours were outside doing some gardening. Do you guys ever feel self-conscious taking pictures for your blog?

I really love those pants!! And I cannot wait to move outside to start taking my pictures - although I’m sure I’ll definitely have some moments when I feel really uncomfortable with neighbors watching!!

Cute oust! You look great! I’m all about outdoor pictures as I now take them on my own too….in my driveway. I’ve had quite a few people snow down and gawk. I’m sure they think I’m crazy, but I’m ok with that. I hated having to so indoor pictures in January during my 30×30. It’s all about preference though, plenty of bloggers take mostly indoor pictures and they outfit are still adorable (like you).
Also, I’m soooo bummed I don’t win the bracelet :(

I”m sorry you didn’t win the bracelet but I’ll be doing another great stella and dot giveaway in April. Thanks Ginny. I wish I had a better camera, because i know that makes a huge difference in quality, but for now I’ll just have to settle for my digital one.
