It’s been on my bucket list to go berry picking with my son and last Wednesday we not only went, but we had a blast. Gotta say my son is better berry picker than I am
We had so much fun!!!!!! My husband is coming with us next time to pick some raspberries. We went to Krause Farms, located in Langley. At Krause Farms it’s about much more than berry picking. You can enjoy some wine tasting, have a yummy waffle breakfast, enjoy their amazing milkshakes and corn pizza. They also have a store where you can purchase vegetables (their corn is honestly the best I’ve ever had), home made pies, honey, syrups, and yummy donuts. My husband quickly figured out that my trip was about much more than berry picking. It was about food. It usually is about food, for me anyways. There are still quite a lot of berries left for picking, so if you want, make your way to Krause Farms.
I love that once you arrive, you wait for a very small school bus and it takes you to the blueberry fields, where someone greets you and gives you your own row of berries to pick from. I basically just held my bucket underneath the bush and watched plump, juicy blueberries fall into it. My son was a great picker. He not only picked just ripe berries but he didn’t eat any. Very proud of him. He also ended up filling up his basket completely, all by himself. Lots of fun was had by both of us. We are really excited to go back with my husband and enjoy the waffles.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we went, that’s why I wore my Toms but I didn’t get muddy at all. I guess it just depends on if it’s been raining or not.

We have not tried berry picking yet, only apply picking. It’s something I would love to take my son to. You guys look like you had so much fun especially your little one.
You chose a nice casual outfit too, very appropriate for the activity of the day!

Looks like you guys had a ton of fun berry picking! I’m hoping to get out there soon too.
I’ve seen place to do this around here (usually strawberries) but I’ve never went to do it, maybe also because I wouldn’t manage to eat a full basket of berries. Looks like you two had an awesome time tho
And your hat is too cute.
Alex - Funky Jungle
Believe me we didn’t eat all the berries we picked. I froze most of them for smoothies.

Thanks Linda
Looks like a great time!
A great time
Still trying to teach my 17 month old not to eat the berries! She hasn’t really gotten the idea yet
Well at 17 months, I certainly don’t expect her to follow that rule.
This sounds like so much fun! My mom always took my sister and I berry picking, and I always loved it. Unlike you son, I think we ate more berries than we picked;)
Yeah they are very strict about no eating. Didn’t want to get banned
