Before I get to my post, I just wanted to thank you all for your sweet and supportive comments in regards to my absence and to Monday’s post. This blog isn’t going anywhere, it’s just been a crazy Summer. Here’s hoping the teachers strike ends soon so we can get back to normal and I can enjoy some “me” time while my son is at Kindergarten.

Last Wednesday, my husband and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary. On Saturday we headed out for a fabulous dinner at Hawksworth restaurant. Without hesitation, I would describe my husband and I as foodies. We absolutely love food. A good friend of mine recommended it to me and it did not disappointed. We had a wonderful evening.

Banana Republic was having their 50% off Friends and Family sale a while back and I fell in love with their black Sloan-Fit Faux-Leather Sheath dress. I like it because it’s an edgy take on a classic dress. It was the perfect dress to celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary. It was a big hit with my husband :)

Doesn’t my husband clean up nicely?!?!?!??! He wore his tuxedo (his marrying tuxedo, as my son likes to call it) out for dinner. It was a very nice night.

    Agi, first of all I did read your Monday post and I agree with every comma and period. No woman or person for that matter can have it all 100%. Something’s gotta give. Your son is only 5 once.

    Secondly all I can say about how you look is WOW WOW WOW!! That BR Dress is stunning and suits you beautifully, no wonder your husband fell in love all over again. You styled it perfectly with the bold crystal necklace and metallic booties. Hot Hot Mamma!! Your husband looks wonderful too in his marrying tux (love how your son calls it lol). And that food OMG. Looks like the perfect date. Happy Anniversary guys. We also celebrate our 10th next year just like you two. =) Just so I know how it runs, what size are you wearing in that LBD?

    Ok I am so jealous you got that faux leather dress 50% off at BR!! I have been eyeing up their faux leather pants for awhile and they are always excluded in the sales! The dress is so great on you and it looks like you and your husband had a great time :) Happy anniversary!
